People ask me "How old is she?" and I never know how to respond. Do I say "Oh, she's 1?" or "14 months"? I'll just stick with continuing to count by month until you're at least 18 months. I'm sure that'll be here before I know it.
It's a new year, 2011, and I can't help but look back to where you were this time last year. So tiny and small, so dependent on your Mommy & Daddy to take care of you. You've grown so much. You can feed yourself, you communicate with grunts or by pointing, you understand how to get dressed and push your arms or legs through your shirt or pants. It's amazing to watch you grow and learn. And, boy, have you learned a lot since moving into your new class. You've added so much to your vocabulary, you're thriving on one nap a day. They tell me everyday how funny, sweet and happy you are. You really make us laugh!

Here's what you've been up to:
Clothes: 12m + some 12-18m (Yeah for new clothes for Christmas!)
Shoes: 4.5-5
Diapers: Size 4
Naps: Just one a day in the afternoon. Some days just for 1 hour and others for up to 4 hours. You're a great sleeper!
Eating: You really love to eat! You're definitely our child. You got some really great dessert over Christmas - ice cream, pie and cookies - and you love sweets!
When you had ice cream for the first time this month you would take a bite from your daddy's spoon, eat it with your eyes closed, then run off. You would come running back with your mouth open for more, saying "MMM!". You're too much.
Words: Mama, Mommy, Dada, ogg (dog), more, all ga (all gone), baby (anyone in a photograph is a baby), bu-be (Bubbles the fish @ school), Hi (hold her hand to her ear like she's on the phone!), Bye (wave)
